Materials needed
- Top and bottom plastic holders
- Small screws and bolts
- Ball caster
- 4-AAA battery holder
- Reflectance sensor array
- Wires
- Arduino board and breadboard
- 3 spacers
- 2 wheels
- 2 servo motors
Steps we did to complete the car
- Buy necessary materials
- Laser cut the top and bottom holders
- Connect the wires to the breadboard and the arduino
- Solder the wires to the sensor
- Buy a toy car with wheels for our device
- Connect the wheels to the motors
- Stick the breadboard to the underside of the top each, and the battery holder to the topside.
- Connect the sensor and arduino to the bottom piece
- Connect the top and bottom pieces together using spacers and screws
- Run the code for the arduino
